Fall 2014 – Patrick McLaughlin, CEA, LEED AP has joined Abraxas. Mr. McLaughlin is an energy engineer with extensive experience in Energy Performance Contracts particularly in the Public Housing and Government sectors. His expertise includes engineering analysis of mechanical and electrical systems. He has extensive experience in federal regulation compliance, procurement procedures, project cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, sustainable building technologies, as well as calculating utility incentives. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from University of Rochester, NY.
Fall 2014 – Abraxas welcomes Rick Jenkins to our ranks. Mr. Jenkins has worked 20 years in the field of energy engineering and an additional 7 years designing commercial, industrial, and naval HVAC systems. He has conducted over 300 facility energy audits totaling more than 13 million square feet of building space as well as numerous individual system engineering studies at various facilities of high and low pressure steam systems and large industrial compressed air systems. He is a subject matter expert on large central chilled water plant optimization.
