Q: How do I create and import an MT1 file?
A: An MT1 file is used to import your bills into Metrix quickly and easily. There is a very specific format, however, that must be used. The details of this format can be found in the Metrix user manual. The video below also gives a demonstration of creating, saving, and importing an MT1 file.
Some common mistakes include:
1) Not deleting your headers
2) Leaving equations in the spreadsheet
3) The numbers aren\'t in the Excel \"General\" format
You can rectify most of these by selecting your entire data selection, then using copy-paste special to paste only the values. Then select General format for all cells simultaneously.
