Q: Persistent \"Project Locked for Editing\" and \"Open Read-Only\" warning message.

A:  This issue was resolved for Metrix 4.5.2. For previous versions, there are two ways to fix this issue:

1) Go to file \'save as\', save the project, close it, and re-open the file.

2) Remove the hidden file that is causing that message. To do this, you will have to:
  • Show hidden files:
    For Windows 7 and Windows Vista, visit this link
    For Windows XP, visit this link
  • Go to where the project template is stored (it should say this in the error message you receive).
  • There will be a file there called \'lock.[Project Name].lock\'. Delete this file.rnrn
