Q: Why do I receive the error message \"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.\" when clicking on a Report Maker \"Task List\" or \"Settings\" command?
A: This error occurs when there a user is unable to access commands on the Report Maker main menu. It is a product of excel trust issues with hyperlinks. There is a work around which allows a user to access all of the necessary Report Maker commands. When Report Maker opens, an additional Microsoft Excel tab (i.e. Home, Insert, Page Layout, Formulas, etc.) labeled \"Metrix\" is created. This tab can be found at the top of the Excel window, and contains every command in the \"Task List\" and \"Settings\" menus.\r\n
