Q: How would I get MarketManager to show savings for switching from a steam heating system to forced hot water heating?

A: 


The savings, if any, can come from one of several sources:

  1. lower HW pipe temps (you need to model pipes to see this)
  2. lower jacket losses (assuming you have a lower % loss)
  3. better nominal and/or part-load efficiency (the MM defaults apparently do not reflect this, so this would need manual input I would limit myself to nominal efficiency change).
